Does a motorcycle phone mount base include the phone side?
In the M36 system, the phone side separates from the bike base. The base box includes M36-PATCH, spare 3M adhesive and a safety tether, enough to install on a flat, smooth bare phone back or a suitable case. Newer iPhone Pro and Pro Max models can use M36-CASE. To avoid adhesive, M33-C1 and M26S-1 clamp the phone edges.

Handlebar clamp or mirror-stem mount on a rental?
Most rentals in Vietnam are scooters with plastic-covered bars, so the mirror-stem mount is the usual choice. According to Kewig, M36-C1S clamps exposed round bars of 22 to 32 mm, while M36-C2 takes 8 or 10 mm mirror stems through an unthreaded hole. Oval or square bars rule out the clamp. High-tank sport bikes need a full-lock check.

Can I keep my current phone case?
Your case surface decides. M36-PATCH needs a bare phone back or a flat, smooth case. Textured silicone, raised-pattern, leather, fabric, ring, mesh and clear flexible cases are unsuitable. Once applied, the plate stays put. Check the case, not the brand. M36-CASE skips adhesive on newer iPhone Pro and Pro Max models.

What holds the phone on rough roads?
The MAG-4LOCK magnetic quick-lock holds the phone with magnets and mechanical claws. Water resistance IP66 is Kewig's stated body rating for M36-C1S and M36-C2. Use the tether as backup, fit the rubber shim that matches your bar and recheck bolts after the first rides. Glance at directions while riding, but stop for messages, music or apps.

Which action camera mount for helmet or bike?
This category sells mounts, not cameras. The X3-GP helmet chin mount has GoPro prongs, two adhesive pad types and a base that follows a full face chin bar. Kewig specifies 180-degree rotation for it, and 180-degree swivel and fold for the padded X2 windscreen clamp, which needs a windscreen. X1 is a magnetic quick-release head for DJI Osmo 360, Action 3, Action 4 and Action 5 Pro.

When are bike fittings needed, and the warranty?
A low mirror fixing needs a 30 or 50 mm mirror riser bolt; bring the bike to check the thread direction. Kewig lists R7 and R8C as 1-inch ball adapters to 6 mm and M8 threads, and C9P as a tube clamp for 12 to 45 mm. The BD-1S bungee strap ties small bags, the CBK-2 luggage hook hangs them. Every Kewig part carries a 12-month defect warranty, not wear.
