The Kewig X1 magnetic mount for DJI Osmo Action 3, 4, 5 Pro and Osmo 360 has a GoPro-standard foot. It must be fitted into a three-prong mount, such as the Kewig X3-GP helmet chin base, to put the camera on a helmet. Price 135,000 VND.
How it holds
When you stop the bike, you take the camera off the mount. The magnet only guides the camera into place; two spring-loaded metal latches are what hold it. The box holds the mount only. The thumb screw comes from the Kewig X3-GP helmet chin base.
Where it fits
To film a mountain pass, fit the mount into the three prongs of the Kewig X3-GP helmet chin base. BigBike has test-fitted it and it matches. The mount also fits the Kewig R22-B quick-release mount. DJI Osmo Action 6 owners should go for the Kewig X4-B6. To fit the camera on the bike, message BigBike to pick a base and an arm.
Installation
Once the three-prong mount is ready, fit the two-prong foot first, then the camera.
Open the two-prong foot → Fit it into the three-prong mount → Pass the screw through the centre hole → Tighten the screw → Set the camera in place → Click both latches shut.
When parking the bike, flick both latches and take the camera with you. No screw to undo.
Flick the latches to take the camera off without loosening the screw to the three-prong mount.
The two-prong foot folds flat when it is not fitted to a mount.
The mount weighs 21 g.
The box holds the mount only, with no screw and no helmet chin base. A three-prong mount is needed on the other side.
The mount does not stick to a helmet or clamp to a bike by itself.
The DJI Osmo Action 6, GoPro and Insta360 cameras do not use this mount.
BigBike makes no promise about vibration resistance, and none that the camera will not fall off.
