IN STOCK
The Kewig R22-B quick-release mount comes in two parts. It takes cameras with a two-prong GoPro-style foot, and its ball base with a 1-inch ball goes into a joint arm on the bike. To part the two pieces, squeeze the black button and the red button at the same time. Turn the red button to lock and it cannot be squeezed. Price 395,000 VND.
Three prongs, thumb screw
A GoPro attaches to its accessories with a folding two-prong foot and a thumb screw. Slot the foot between the three prongs on the plate and tighten the screw once. The plate stays on the camera and the ball base stays on the bike. Slide the plate into the base and the two parts lock together by themselves. BigBike has test-fitted a GoPro HERO camera.
Two buttons, one lock
Stopping at the supermarket, you pull the camera off by squeezing the black button and the red button at the same time. Turn the red button sideways to lock and it can no longer be squeezed. If you forget to lock, the two parts still lock together when slid in, but squeezing both buttons will still part them. From then on there is no screw to undo.
Fitting the camera
Before a highway run, you need the Kewig J1S joint arm and a base that ends in a ball, such as the Kewig C2U2, Kewig C9P or Kewig R8A. The mount is the last part of the chain. The box holds the two-part mount and the thumb screw.
Slot the camera into the prongs → Tighten the thumb screw → Slide into the base → Turn the red button to lock → Turn to open, squeeze both → Pull the camera off.
The red button turns sideways to block the squeeze that parts the two pieces.
After every release the plate goes with the camera and the ball base stays on the bike.
From the next stop on, squeeze two buttons to pull the camera off, no thumb screw to undo.
Aluminium alloy mount, weighs 103 g.
The 1-inch ball connects to a double ball joint arm.
Only takes cameras with a two-prong GoPro-style foot.
The mount does not attach to the bike by itself. You need a joint arm and a ball base.
The box holds the two-part mount and the thumb screw only.
BigBike does not promise a load rating or a riding speed.
