Check existing hardware first. A camera-side head cannot attach directly to the bike, so match it to the base and arm you brought. Without those parts, look at a complete kit or a helmet or windscreen fitting. Separate threaded cameras and GoPro fittings from DJI magnetic attachments.

For Osmo Action 6, choose the X4-B6 magnetic quick-release. DJI Action 3, Action 4, Action 5 Pro and Osmo 360 use X1 or X4-B3, depending on the connection already installed. The Action 6 head uses a different magnet orientation, so no cross-fitting. Kewig lists X1 with folding GoPro prongs, while the X4 versions use a 1-inch ball for a matching arm.

Kewig specifies R22-A for Insta360 via a 1/4-inch thread and R22-B with GoPro-style prongs, both on the 1-inch ball system. No new base is needed. The arm grips the base and head balls, so changing cameras means a matching head, not another base. The quick-release head slides sideways and locks with a spring latch. Check the exact model in-store.

Choose by release mechanism and viewpoint. Kewig lists R22B-C13 for 16 to 45 mm tubes, the R14 kit and pole for 12 to 45 mm. R22B-C13 has a release button and a screw needing its own wrench. The R14 kit links clamp, arm, ball head and camera base. Both end in GoPro prongs. QG-2 clamps round tubes and extends for wider shots with Insta360 or GoPro; phones need a separate holder.

Bring your own full face helmet. Rental bikes rarely have windscreens and rental helmets are often open face, so check what mounting points exist. The X3-GP helmet chin mount uses a bendable adhesive base below the chin bar, with a small tether as backup. Removing it is hard. The X2 windscreen clamp takes edges up to 8 mm thick, per Kewig.

Longer pole extensions shake more. Helmet footage follows your head, a bike-mounted camera follows the bike, and a rigid bracket will not remove all vibration. Tighten carefully and recheck after the first rides. This category sells mounts, not cameras.
