The Kewig HB3-H mirror-stem crossbar uses a 10 mm hole at each end: pass the mirror bolt through, then screw the mirror back on. The 22 mm bar runs across the front to clamp a phone holder or a ball clamp onto, and pulls out from 32 to 52.6 cm. Price 265,000 VND.
On the mirror stems
A scooter with fully covered handlebars can still take this crossbar on its two mirror stems. Take the mirror off, pass the mirror bolt through the 10 mm hole in the flat tab, then screw the mirror back on. The 22 mm bar only adds a clamping spot. BigBike has test-clamped the Kewig C2U2 clamp and the Kewig M36-C1S holder onto the bar.
Length and riser
If the two mirror stems sit 32 to 52.6 cm apart, pull the two end tubes out or push them in until the two holes line up. Mirror stems that sit low against the headlight cowl need a Kewig mirror riser bolt. BigBike has test-fitted it: some bikes take it straight on, some need the riser bolt.
Fitting the crossbar
Before a trip to Da Lat, measure the distance between the two mirror stems. The box holds one crossbar only, and the riser bolt is bought separately for low mirror stems.
Measure the two stems → Take both mirrors off → Pull the bar to length → Seat the two tabs → Screw both mirrors back → Clamp the accessory on.
Once clamped, give the bar a shake before riding into rush-hour traffic.
Both mirrors screw back on once the flat tabs sit on the mirror stems.
Pull the two ends to set the length to the distance between the mirror stems.
No bare handlebar needed to fit the bar.
Aluminium alloy body, weighs 340 g, black.
The two mirror stems must sit 32 to 52.6 cm apart.
Mirror stems low against the headlight cowl need a Kewig mirror riser bolt, bought separately.
The crossbar does not hold a device. You need to add a phone holder or a ball clamp.
BigBike does not promise a load rating or a riding speed.
