The Kewig R8A ball adapter screws into a 10 mm mirror-stem thread once the mirror is off, and gives you one 1-inch ball. That mirror cannot go back on while the adapter holds the thread. One adapter costs 179,000 VND.
A mirror for a ball
With the right mirror removed, screw the adapter into the 10 mm mirror-stem thread to get a 1-inch ball. No extra bracket or clamp is needed. The mirror you took off cannot be refitted, because the adapter holds the thread. BigBike has test-fitted it in a 10 mm mirror-stem thread. BigBike recommends the right-hand mirror thread and leaving the left mirror in place. A motorcycle on public roads, national highways included, must have a left mirror.
Keep both mirrors
To keep both mirrors, use the Kewig H3L bracket. On the bracket tube, the 8 mm threaded holes take the R8C adapter and the 6 mm holes take the R7. The bracket does not take a 10 mm adapter.
Measure the mirror-stem thread before ordering. Choose the Kewig R8A only if it is 10 mm, and message BigBike if it is a left-hand thread.
After the ball comes the Kewig J1S ball joint arm, then a phone mount or camera mount with a 1-inch ball.
Screwing it in
Before building a mount setup on your daily commuter, bring your own tools to remove the right mirror. The plastic bag holds one adapter only. No loose nut, washer or key is included.
Remove the right mirror → Store the mirror → Screw the adapter fully in → Fit the joint arm → Fit the phone mount or camera mount.
Aluminium alloy adapter, weighs 44 g.
No extra bracket or clamp to add on the handlebar.
Fit the joint arm once the stud is screwed fully in.
The mirror on the side you fit it must come off, and cannot go back while the adapter is there.
Fits 10 mm threads only, and does not screw into the Kewig H3L bracket.
It does not hold a device by itself. You need a joint arm and a phone mount or camera mount.
BigBike does not promise a load rating.
