IN STOCK
The Kewig B8 DIN socket USB charger plugs straight into a round DIN socket already on the bike, giving one Type-C port and one USB-A port. The bike must have this socket. BigBike has test-plugged it into the DIN socket on the BMW GS1300, GSA, GS1250 and Triumph Tiger 900. Price 406,000 VND.
Into the DIN socket
The unused round DIN socket with a flip cap on the bike is where the brass DIN plug goes. The bike must have a DIN socket, and the charger plugs straight in with no wiring or tools. Everyday scooters, step-throughs and manual commuter bikes almost never have a DIN socket. BigBike has test-plugged the charger into the DIN socket on the BMW GS1300, GSA, GS1250 and Triumph Tiger 900.
Two ports
Before heading out on the highway, plug your charging cable into the Type-C or USB-A port. The label on the body reads input 12V to 24V, Type-C up to 20V 1.5A, USB-A up to 12V 2.5A. The flip cap has four rubber nubs that press against the port face. To keep the phone in front of you while charging, add a Kewig M36-C1S phone holder to the handlebar.
Plugging it in
Getting ready for a trip up north, use the phone charging cable you already have to plug into the charger.
Flip open the DIN socket → Push in the brass plug → Flip open the charger cap → Plug in the cable → Check the indicator light.
The box holds the charger only, no DIN socket or adapter cable. If you are unsure about the socket on your bike, send BigBike a photo before ordering.
The charger takes power directly from the DIN socket, no power wiring needed.
Type-C and USB-A ports let you pick by your phone or camera cable.
Aluminium-bodied charger weighing 48 g.
The bike must already have a DIN socket, the box includes no DIN socket or cable.
The charger has no switch and no fuse of its own.
BigBike does not promise anything about each bike's electrical system.
