The Kewig MP-1 handheld electric tyre pump has no battery and takes power from the vehicle battery or a 12V outlet. The ring-terminal cable bolts to the motorcycle battery terminals. The pump stops by itself once it reaches the pressure you set. BigBike has test-pumped motorcycle and car tyres. Price 959,000 VND.
Two power cables
The pump has no battery, power comes from the vehicle itself. The box holds two cables: a ring-terminal cable that bolts to the motorcycle battery terminals, with a fuse box on the line, and a 12V outlet plug cable. The power cable is 3.5 m long and joins the pump through a quick connector. BigBike has pumped a motorcycle tyre with the pump wired to the battery, and a car tyre through the car's 12V outlet.
Auto stop
When pumping, press M to choose a mode and use the plus and minus keys to set the number. The LED screen has four modes: car, motorcycle, bicycle, ball. The pump stops once it reaches the set number. Maximum pressure is 150 PSI, air flow is 35 litres per minute. Check the correct tyre pressure on the sticker on the vehicle or in the owner's manual.
How to use
When you stop by the highway, connect power to the pump first.
Connect the power cable → Screw the hose onto the valve → Switch on → Choose the mode → Set the pressure → Wait for auto stop.
