The Kewig J1S ball joint arm joins two 1-inch balls, and tightening the knob then covering the screw head blocks the device from being removed. The knob still loosens for angle changes. The 6 cm arm is 196,000 VND, the 9 cm arm 239,000 VND.
Joining two balls
A base and a mount, each with a 1-inch ball, still cannot join each other. The two sockets grip two 1-inch balls, and the arm fits either way round. A tight spot takes the 6 cm arm, a longer reach takes the 9 cm one. The arm sits in the middle and holds nothing on its own.
The anti-theft lock
When you park the bike, tighten the knob with the hex key and cover the screw head with the cap to block the device from being removed. From then on the knob only loosens for angle changes. The box holds the arm, the knob, the screw cap and the hex key. BigBike has test-fitted it: a C9P clamp or a C2U2 clamp to a camera mount, and an R7 or R8C adapter to a phone holder.
Locking it
Once the base and the mount are in place, have the hex key ready to fit the arm.
Loosen the knob → Fit the base ball → Fit the mount ball → Set the device angle → Tighten the knob with the hex key → Cover the screw head.
After getting off the bike at a coffee shop, you loosen the knob with one hand, turn the angle and tighten again. No need to remove the device.
