The Kewig H4S handlebar extension clamps to the handlebar and gives the bike an extra 22 mm tube, 11 cm long, to clamp a phone holder or a ball clamp onto. The clamp takes four tube sizes: 22, 25.4, 28.6 and 32 mm. The bar only adds a clamping spot, it does not hold the device itself. Price 195,000 VND.
One more tube
When the bare stretch of handlebar left is too short, the extension gives the bike an extra 22 mm tube, 11 cm long. The bar only adds a clamping spot. What holds the device is the holder or clamp you fit onto the bar. BigBike has test-clamped the Kewig C2U2 clamp, the Kewig M36-C1S holder and a third-party phone holder with a 22 mm tube clamp onto it.
Four tube sizes
A bike used for market runs needs the right tube size picked before clamping. The clamp takes 22, 25.4, 28.6 and 32 mm tubes using three spacer rings and a 1.2 mm rubber pad. BigBike has test-clamped it on a bare 22 mm handlebar and on the tube of the Kewig H3L base. Scooters with fully covered handlebars use the Kewig H3L base.
Fitting the bar
Before a ride through the northwest passes, pick the spacer for your tube size and set the clamp on the bare tube. The clamp tightens with one hex bolt and the upright neck is fixed. The box holds one bar, three spacer rings for 22, 25.4 and 28.6 mm and one 1.2 mm rubber pad.
Pick the right spacer → Clamp onto the handlebar → Tighten the hex bolt → Give the bar a shake → Clamp the accessory onto the bar.
The clamp takes four tube sizes, 22, 25.4, 28.6 and 32 mm, with spacers and a rubber pad.
Tighten one hex bolt, then give the bar a shake before riding.
Three spacer rings and one rubber pad in the box, matched to the tube size.
Aluminium alloy body, weighs 92 g.
Only clamps onto a handlebar with a bare stretch of tube left.
The bar does not hold a device. You need to add a phone holder or a ball clamp.
The upright neck is fixed, no tilt adjustment.
BigBike does not promise a load rating or a riding speed.
