IN STOCK
Film what you see with a mount that sticks to the helmet chin bar, no drilling. GoPro HERO cameras fit directly, DJI Osmo Action needs the Kewig X1. The Kewig X3-GP helmet chin camera mount does not depend on the bike you ride. Price 290,000 VND.
In the box
To film a mountain pass from the helmet chin, pick the long base with two bendable wings or the short mount head with no wings. Four adhesive pads come in two shapes: flat with grooves, and curved. The kit includes a small loop cord and a hex key.
Which mount
When the helmet has a chin bar, the mount has somewhere to stick. GoPro HERO cameras fit directly. DJI Osmo Action needs the Kewig X1 magnetic mount, which BigBike has test-fitted. Message the shop about a GoPro-prong adapter for Insta360 cameras.
Take a photo of your helmet chin and send it to BigBike before ordering.
Installation
When getting ready for a tour, stick the base on and wait 24 hours before fitting the camera.
Wipe the chin bar with alcohol → Line up the position → Stick the base on the helmet → Wait the full time → Fit the camera into the mount → Tighten the thumb screw.
The mount adjusts through 180 degrees with the hex key in the box. When parking the bike, slide the mount head sideways off the base to put the camera away. The word UP with an arrow is marked on the latch.
Slide the mount head sideways to take the camera, the adhesive base stays on the helmet.
The included hex key adjusts the 180-degree angle, nothing extra to buy.
A thumb screw locks the camera into the mount.
The mount sits on the helmet, so it needs no accessory clamp space on the bike.
The adhesive pad needs 24 hours after sticking before the camera goes on.
BigBike makes no promise about vibration resistance, and none that the camera will not fall off.
3/4 and half helmets have no chin bar, so the mount cannot be stuck on.
DJI Osmo Action and Insta360 cameras need an adapter and do not fit the mount directly.
