The Kewig R14-SET four-piece GoPro camera mount set clamps 12 to 45 mm tubes, and its 9 cm arm pushes the camera further out. BigBike has mounted a GoPro HERO directly on the base and a DJI Osmo Action through the adapter that comes with DJI cameras. The set has no anti-theft screw. Price 655,000 VND for the set.
9 cm arm
When the camera is clamped tight to the handlebar, the frame catches the instrument cover and brake lines. The 9 cm arm pushes the camera away from the clamp, and you adjust the angle at both ball ends. The 1 inch ball head connects to the GoPro three-prong base. BigBike has mounted a GoPro HERO straight onto the base and a DJI Osmo Action through the adapter that comes with DJI cameras.
12 to 45 mm clamp
Before a trip into the northwest mountains, pick a bare section of tube on the bike to clamp. The claw clamp wraps round tubes from 12 to 45 mm and tightens with a hand knob, no tools needed. BigBike has test-clamped it on a 22 mm shop bike handlebar and an adventure bike crash bar. Scooters fully covered in plastic with no bare tube cannot take the clamp directly.
Fitting
Fit it at home before hitting the highway, the box has all four pieces.
Clamp onto the tube → Attach the arm → Fit the ball head → Fit the three-prong base → Mount the camera → Angle then tighten.
The set has no anti-theft screw, so take the camera with you when parking. If you need an anti-theft screw at the clamp, see the Kewig R22B-C13 set.
The 9 cm arm moves the camera clear of the instrument cover and brake lines.
