Riding as a pair or solo, the S13 is not the right fit.
Mesh and pairing
The S13 joins a 10-rider group intercom with one touch. When the whole group rides S13, each rider presses the intercom button once and the 10 units find each other. The connection is most stable with fewer than 10 riders. BigBike tested it with a full set of 10 units at once.
The maker states a range of about 1000m and stable intercom above 120 km/h. The faster you ride, the closer the bikes need to stay. Ride at the legal speed limit to keep the connection, stay within the law and stay safe.
The stated range and speed do not guarantee a connection on every road.
Music and talk
Stopped for fuel on the highway, the group picks music for the next stretch. MST stands for Mixing Sound Technology, which plays music at the same time as the conversation. While the group is talking, navigation prompts from the phone still come through. BigBike does not encourage listening to music while riding, so leave the music to the passenger.
Music sharing lets 2 riders hear the same song. Switch to FM when you would rather hear the radio. EQ offers HiFi, Popular and DJ to choose how it sounds.
The unit pairs two phones at once: one for calls, one running maps. Stop the bike before adjusting the unit or changing modes, for safety.
Prompts and reconnecting
Over a mountain pass or past buildings in the way, the group loses contact. Obstacles and areas with signal jamming also drop the connection. Once the bikes ride close again, the unit reconnects by itself. With Mesh intercom, the group network stays more seamless.
Voice commands cut down hand operation while riding. CVC reduces wind noise during conversation.
Prompts come only in English and Chinese, not Vietnamese. One-touch pairing lets riders unfamiliar with gadgets join the Mesh before setting off.
Compared with other models

BigBike has fitted the S13 to full-face, 3/4, modular and dual sport helmets. If the helmet has speaker pockets, the speakers go in the pockets. If not, message the shop for guidance. Send a photo of your helmet on Zalo and BigBike will advise the clamp or adhesive mount.
