The Kewig HD-1 helmet liner goes on before the helmet, covers the head with only the eyes open, and is made of stretchy cool-touch fabric. Glasses slots sit at both temples. Sweat goes into the liner instead of the helmet padding. One stretch size, black, price 175,000 VND.
Sweat control
After a day stuck in traffic, the full-face helmet padding is still damp and smells when you put it back on. Put the liner on first, then the helmet, so sweat goes into the liner. Smooth cool-touch fabric covers the crown, temples and nape, with mesh over the cheeks, chin and neck. In the evening, wash the liner and the helmet padding stays drier and fresher. The liner does not replace washing the helmet padding.
Glasses slots
With a full-face helmet on, the arms of your glasses press into your temples. Set the two glasses slots level with your ears and pass the arms out through them, outside the fabric. BigBike has worn it under a full-face helmet and passed glasses arms through the slots. The liner shields the skin on the nape, neck and face from UV in harsh sun.
Wearing and washing
The liner covers the head with only the eyes open, one stretch size, black.
Pull the liner over your head → Adjust the eye opening → Line up the glasses slots → Pass the glasses arms through → Put the helmet on.
Hand wash and dry in the shade; BigBike makes no promise about machine washing. BigBike has had several people try it on and it fit them all. At the cafe, use the Kewig CBK-4 combination helmet lock to leave the helmet on the bike.
The glasses slots keep the arms outside the liner under a full-face helmet.
The liner takes the sweat, so you wash it after the commute and the helmet padding stays drier.
The fabric dries fast, ready to wear again after washing.
BigBike makes no promise about machine washing; wash it by hand.
