The Scoyco MT106 is a low-cut motorcycle riding shoe that covers the ankle, with a quick dial and a dual-layer rubber sole with drainage grooves. Who it fits
One pair for the weekday commute, the weekend mountain pass and the walk after you take the helmet off, with no shoe change. That is what the MT106 is built for: a low cut that covers the ankle, a quick dial and an upper that resists light rain. There is no metal in the toe.

The MT106 has no safety standard printed on the tag. Riders who need a printed standard, or who ride in heavy rain for days, should look at another model.
Dial, sole, upper
The dial carries the Scoyco logo, turns to tighten the lace, adjusts with one hand and works with gloves on. There is no zip and no Velcro. The sole is dual-layer rubber with deep grooves, drainage channels and an asymmetric tread.
The upper is 95% PU-coated microfiber and 5% spandex according to the secondary label. The mesh has three layers. The maker states the microfiber resists tearing three times better than standard leather.
Note: turn the dial and tighten the lace only when the bike has stopped.
Rain, walking
Light rain, shallow puddles and splashes from washing the bike are fine. Prolonged heavy rain or flooded roads will get your feet wet. The upper is water-resistant with no separate membrane, so pick a route around flooded stretches before you leave.
The lining is moisture-wicking fabric. The three-layer cushioning is a shock-absorbing insole, high-rebound foam and a heel and toe box shaped to the foot. The deep-grooved sole handles walking around a stop or into a campsite. It is a riding shoe, not a hiking boot.
Protection and care
Reinforced panels on both sides and the toe, an ankle support system, a thick heel pad and arch support. The shift pad sits on the toe area where the lever touches. No metal toe, no safety standard printed on the tag.
Clean with plain water and dry in a ventilated place. No machine washing, no tumble drying, keep away from fire. Keep the QR tag on each pair with the invoice to claim your benefits.
The first three cleanings are free at BigBike; out-of-town riders send the shoes to the shop.
Choose or not
Choose the MT106 if you commute daily, ride a mountain pass at the weekend, walk around a campsite when you arrive, or need women's sizes. This Scoyco riding shoe has a trekking shape and a quick dial.
For multi-day touring in the rainy season, look at the high-cut Scoyco MT038WP with its built-in waterproof membrane. If you want a metal toe and a racing shape, look at the short-cut Scoyco MR002-2. If you need a safety standard printed on the tag, none of the three models has one.
